Hi guys. My HT is 16 * 12 ft (L*B), 9 ft tall with false ceiling (gypsum).
The pic shows the entrance of my HT ( only side of room I am acoustically concerned for now ) Glass door is yet to be kept. The room was designed for family living cum tv purpose. Later on I decided to go with a dedicated HT setup. As u can see I hav put on some thin curtains behind the glass.
When I play music or watch movies it causes some worry to my family. I want to make it soundproof to maximum extend within a limited budjet.
Now my question is
What should I do so that sound doesn't escape the room ?
Do I need to change the glasses and put on woodwork for partition ?
Will stickers and thicker curtains help to an extent ?
Glass is 12mm in size. Silicon treatment given at all ends.
It does give some kind of vibrations at high volume. Any solution to that ?
