Was just curious? Then, it is just a hifi meet and not a HFV meet!!!
Just noticed that one of the organizers, Musicmaya, for the HFV meet - Chennai chapter has been banned!!! Are we still going ahead with the meet or not?
I'm not sure how this is going to affect chennai HFV meet, i think its a group effort and does not depend on any individual.
Help! I can't get past post #183, p.4 on this thread. Had this happen to me on another forum and clearing cache and cookies was the fix. It isn't working for me here at the moment.
Oh well, see you guys on Sunday, if not later in the thread!
EDIT... curious! My post has appeared as #184, and yet the page selector shows there is a page 5 but I'm on p.4. Sorry for the sidetrack, but is this the post before this one?
Phew, thanks. As it looked the same in a virtual machine, as well as if not logged in, I was beginning to think the HFV forum system had some special grudge against me!Yes, your post is right after that one referred. BTW, my previous post was in page 5 (I have a setting of 50 posts per page) but it now got shifted to page 4.
Another thing is, page 5 is not showing up. Don't know what is happening. I think it is because some posts have been deleted.
As per the updated Google sheet 17 members have transferred the payment as of now.
We switched to view mode as someone played a prank and deleted some content. Confirmations can be made in the thread itself. I'll update the Google sheet after verifying. Hope that is ok.i am not able to update excel sheet. Its in view mode i think. I like to confirm and update my participation through this post.

A small suggestion, can we add one regional song from Tamil & Malayalam to be played in the meet apart from English songs.
I propose below
1. Jazz - Renaissance by Ben Webster
2. Rock - Private Investigations by Dire Straits
3. Western Classical - To be decided
4. Movie song from Tamil Movie- Alaiypayuthe - Snehithane Snehithane Song
5. Movie song from Malayalam Movie -Beautiful - Mazhaneer Thullikal song
I put my user name in the "comment." I hope that field came to your account.payments from the following persons have been received but since they are not matching with the forum handles, I'm unable to correlate but have done some calculated guessing.
I think it is because some posts have been deleted.
I too have this issue, only on this thread though. Tapatalk app on my iPhone shows "Next Page" but the next page is blank.
Could it be because some posts have been deleted from this thread since a member posting on this thread was banned?
@Mods: Please, can we not delete posts when a member is banned? Thread lose continuity and also knowledge(in many cases) is lost. If I remember right, the rules were also amended a while ago wherein it was explicitly mentioned that the posts were the property of Hifivision.
Hi Srini, I suggested English tracks as we may get members from different parts of country. Jazz track has predominantly mid range content, even the second track also is the same. I would've suggested a heavy metal track for rock music but unless you listen to it on a warm and laid back speaker, it would be very fatiguing, aurally speaking. I suggested Westen Classical number because it gives us an indication of the sound stage and dynamic range of the speaker like no one else.
However, suggestions are welcome. In fact more people must make suggestions; we can then pick and choose.
Well, content-wise, I would vote for local classical music because this is the music that I mostly listen to, but I have doubts that I can find a CD that will challenge an audio system to do other than display its flaws.I spoke to few members who were attending the meet and they are quiet happy and interested in adding regional songs and what songs I suggested were of my choice and further members can chip in with their suggestion.
