Hi Friends,

I spend a lot of time to complete my Amp, Printing PCBs, Itching, Drilling, Component Assembly.... & then Finally Testing, It Took almost 5 Months to get it working Properly. In between I did went through a lot of Problems during testing, There was some fireworks too.. Burning of Resisters, Transistors, My Testing Speakers etc... I also stated a thread http://www.hifivision.com/diy/62274-help-needed-sort-out-problem-crescendo-me-amplifier.htmlto sort out some Problems which i faced during testing of this Amp. And i am thankful to our Fellow Member "Shaan" he guided me in Proper direction to sort out the Problems.

I have been running this Amp for More than like 20 Days in my testing Enclosure for observation, its working Fine, No humms, no Hiss just Pure Sound. So now its time to Shift this Amp in a Proper Enclosure which is built by myself.

The Enclosure will be made from Heat sinks (Left & Right), Top & Bottom will be M.S plate of 1 mm thickness & Front & Back will be Acrylic.

Below is the Photo of Heat Sink on which Both PCB's ( AMp & Protection) will be Mounted (Drilling & Tapping Done)

After Drilling work is completed both the Top & Bottom plates will be going for Power Coating. Back Panel of this enclosure is yet to be made, because i am still thinking on which side I should place the Input RCA & Output Connectors of Speakers, Should i fit them like..... Right input (Single RCA) & Speaker Connector on Right Side & Vice Versa. or Should i Place them Together on any one Side. I am unable to decide it.

Sadik

Perfect 10!!!

PS: You may want to keep the speaker outputs in the middle and the inputs at 1" less from extreme left and extreme right of the rear panel.

Sadik, it's looking superb. Excellent job.
One observation though - if you have opted vertical fins instead of current horizontal fins for the radiators, it would have been doing more dissipation I think.

I guess Sadik's nominal power output requirement from this amp will be low enough for the horizontal fins to dissipate the heat safely (must never be covered with a cloth or anything).

Like what Shaan Said... The Heat Sinks do not get as hot as a Class A Amp like " JEAN HIRAGA", they are just little hot from the word "Warm" hence there will be no issue of heat dissipation in this Heat Sinks.

That's great to know.

Looking very impressive. Congratulations @sadik.

excellent job. nice sheet metal work and painting. Btw, a heatsink with vertical fins would have been better. you know, natural air flow due to heat is in a vertical direction. so, vertical fins will help better cooling.
Also, make sure to insulate the mains socket and speaker connector terminals with heat shrinkable tubing.
