experience with flipkart and other online sellers

ya also philips blu ray player 2600 model shows 4890 , with blu ray worth 999 for 4990 that offer is out stock , me too noticed such deals , there are many, actually that was last price of last piece in stock. they lower down much so last piece sells .

It seems that flipkart just don't remove the items they once had and gets sold out.

'Out of Stock' in flipkart just means that the item was once available at the said price but now it is not since it got sold out. Once you understand this, flipkart will be perfect.

I actually like this since I can see the earlier prices too and compare it with other sites or with new stock on flipkart itself. A couple of times on asking for notification, I do get notified too when the item becomes available but at the new price. In one of the discs, the new price was lower than the one they had sold earlier.

I have used Flipkart, Amazon, Letsbuy, Ebay, Snapdeal, KOOVS.com... and my rating wud b:
Amazon: 10/10 - Awesome Prices, No delivery issues
Flipkart: 9/10 - Best Prices, No delivery issues
(No issues, but amazon got 10/10 for making it happen on international shipments :=))
Letsbuy: 9/10 - Flipkart younger bro
Ebay: 7/10 - Once ruled the roost, its downhill now. Was the era before Flipkart and Letsbuy arrived at the scene. Now, good only during discount seasons ;) Prices were best before other ecommerce sites popped up on the scene. Delivery was always tricky as it depended on individual sellers.
Snapdeal: 4/10 - All 4 point for prices, delivery is ZERO. Took 12 days to start shipment and then when I finally received the item, it wasnt the one I asked for. So had to return it. Now the wait had begun for the refund.
KOOVS.com: 3/10 - Again 3 point for prices. ZERO for delivery. Shows 25% cash back at time of purchase. You never get that coupon to use that cash back. Delivery never happens. Had to finally cancel the order. Thankfully got the refund.

guys beware never buy from timtara , it is said to be fraud site . many guys brought from there stuff , after week when no delivery they get reply item out of stock.everyone gets same msg. they wont pick up phone , reply late to emails . on their facebook wall many people are angry and crying .even if offer too good order on your risk

+1 to that. I find myself visiting ebay.in less often these days. Having to deal with a different seller each time is difficult enough, but there is more. The ebay.in customer support is lousy, the prices are rarely competitive, and the product descriptions seem to have been written by retarded monkeys.

Just asked another ebay seller to cancel my order because the item listed was out of stock.

being an huge perfume fanatic snapdeal.com is my most often live in site!...awesome pricing and fast delivery made it my most favourite shopping site for perfumes...perfumes are almost on par with US prices...havent got any rip offs as of now...bought around perfumes worth 20k in the last one year and its been quite an addictive site...range is also good starting from an addidas to gucci and tom ford made it my fav...
Flipkarts neat too bought quite a bunch of music cd's from there...very satisfied with them...never bought books from them though!...

another site i want to mention here would be rightshopping.in

to be honest, i would never have bought anything from an unknown site like this, but for the fact that junglee.com (apparently the indian incarnation of amazon in india) recommends it. what happened after ordering was absolute chaos. i saw no activity on my order for 2 days. then i got a call from their customer service saying that they didnt have the item in stock. they then refunded the money. to my utter horror, to this day, the item is still listed as available.

why did i order?
as i said i wanted to try junglee.com and also because rightshopping had the lowest rate for that particular product.

of course, i've never had a problem with flipkart, infibeam, ebay. the best thing about ebay (or at least used to be) is the fact that few dealers will send you items from the US not officially available here in india, that too at lower prices than amazon (after adding the amazon's shipment rates of course). but i guess now, even that advantage has be negated by the likes of flipkart.

Guys - I am thinking of buying 3 to 4 HDMI cables from Koovs.com. However, there are mixed feedbacks for this online dealer....

I have a good experience for Flipkart amd Letsbuy, but not sure about Koovs.. Prices are really tempting with a difference of Rs.300 comparing with flipkart or letsbuy....

I am not worried even if they don't stick to the time, but my only concern is about the right product and quality....

Any thoughts??
