Yes, Goa has some home theater outfits, but finally a real high-end two-channel store in Goa -- Unbox Audio -- opened by our FM.
Spent a nice evening there last week, it's located inside a really nice villa in a quiet neighbourhood in a very convenient location.
Best part of this store is all the equipment can be auditioned before purchased (a rarity if not an impossibility in India) and at very reasonable prices.
Enjoyed listening to formidable Dynaudio C4 Platinum, Mofi, the very musical JBL, and some Sonus Faber, all in one evening. Everything sounded really good even though the store has just opened and most of the gear is still not fully broken in.
Judging by the quality of gear and prices, this should be big hit.
Wishing our FM all the best in this endeavour and thanking him from the bottom of my heart for bringing a much needed breath of fresh air in the Indian hi-fi scene.
Will be visiting again next week to hear the Klipsch speakers (La Scala I think).
