I don't think singing folk songs should affect the credibility of a 'rock' musician. In fact it would be commendable, in my IMHO, for someone to be outstanding in different genres, especially if they are as varied as the ones you mention. 13AD was a fantastic band, as were Indus Creed and Millennium. But yeah, a man can't survive in India playing just rock and such. On a different note, I would not rate Pentagram at the same level as 13AD or Indus Creed, in which light, the soundtrack for Sheila Ki Jawaani might make sense, I guess.
