Good power supply to upgrade the streamer

I am feeding Chord Qutest dac with Farad Super 3 linear power supply and Volumio Rivo streamer with Shanti lps. The sound using linear power supplies has improved very much. I compare a particular track streaming from tidal and the same track through a cd player and for me they were pretty close.

If I import the iFi iPower2 from USA do I need a step down transformer as their products are made for a different voltage?

Hi no not to my knowledge! I think they do 110~240 as input.

I think Allo Shanti LPS is now available on faptolab. Do let me know if you can hear a difference using lps, I have Wiim pro plus as well

I have bought the allo Shanti and connected it to my wiim pro. And there is certainly a difference. The music has more body to it now. But one can argue that is just a change in the sound signature. If you prefer a leaner sound you can keep the default power supply.

I have the allo Nirvana.Can i use this with the Wiim Pro plus?As of now i am using it with the stock adapter.There is a usb out 5V,2.85A on allo Nirvana and theres another connected output which i used to use for my allo boss 2?should i use the usb out or use an adapter to convert the other output to USB-c?Also is the 2.85A too much for the wiim pro plus?

Yes, you can use the USB out to power the streamer. I have a similar setup, Nirvana powers the Allo Boss 2 and the USB out powers my Topping DAC. The total current capability of Nirvana is 2.85A, which is shared by the DC out cable and the USB port. As long as the total current requirement across both outputs is below 2.85A, it will work fine. Higher current capability than required, at the output of a power supply is not a problem.
