Good speaker set(5.1) for LCD/DVD/iPOD

Hello,
I am looking for a good speaker set(5.1) which will deliver good performance when coupled with my entertainment devices.
I have a 40" Samsung LCD TV receiving Tata Sky feed and connected to a samsung HDMI DVD player. The native LCD TV speakers do not perform well.
I occasionally connect my iPOD through speakers.


My usage
40% - Movies/Sports/Discovery-NatGeo/MTV
40%- SD/DVD Movies
20% - iPOD songs(Rock/Jazz)

My budget is ~20k

Can you'll please recommend optimum speakers fitting the above usage and budget?

Thanks..But is logitech z5500 is meant for PC Multimedia..right ? Can it be used as a Home Theater system for watching movies in the living room ? My room size is 20x11 feet.

Thats fairly large room . Do you have any plans to buy an AVR or AMP in future ? if not you shld look @ buying a HTIB with lil more budget. TV or STB source will not give you better audio out to the speakers .

Get a HTIB Onkyo 3300 or Buy an entry level AVR with Energy Take classic 5.1 / Polk RM 6750 5.1 speaker system.

I gave suggestions for 20k budget..
both are entry level 5.1 options for movies.. suits better for small sized room.
z5500 is good enough for movies..it has optical/coaxial digital inputs for dts/dolby 5.1 decoding..no need of avr/amp..

your room is large and you should consider increasing the budget.. separate AVR and speaker package will give a better/powerful surround effect..
