With about 35 new (preowned) LP's that I picked up just before leaving mumbai, I am really looking forward to setting the gear up!

Stuff that includes JJ Cale, Joan Baez, some glam rock like Nazareth and loads more!

I used Schenker DB for packing and moving.... up until now they have been superb in their service. Very, very pricey though.... If the stuff reaches in good condition, it will be money well spent I guess!!!

and found that my Clearaudio Concerto Cartridge has lost its tip :sad:

I guess I'll have to be patient for more time, until it gets retipped... This freaking bad luck...

Clearaudio does have a exchange thingee... they'll give me a 35% discount in exchange. That works out to me paying USD 1500 plus shipping...

Elusivedisc.com is allowing me to exchange the Concerto for a Stradivari for USD 1900 + shipping. Me thinks, if these are the options I'll go up the ladder and pull the trigger on the Stradivari.... Now to generate more money!!!:lol::lol::lol:

While i bide my time saving up for the Stradivari Exchange, I have ordered a budget MM cart - Clearaudio Aurum Classics. Having used this earlier, I know I would be able to enjoy my set up to a fair degree... this at least should reach me in a few weeks!

In the process, i have also ordered the recently issued Eric Clapton Unplugged album!
