New Gramophone House. In Hindi he practically has everything. In English you will have to check. The guy knows his stuff. He understands what mint means. He has been in this business since the last 50-60 years.

His english stock is very limited.... but yeah, his hindi stock is pretty good...

Manav, search "lp records" "gramophone" "Records" "vinyls" in Quikr Delhi it shows not only record sellers but some private sellers as well.

Cart update: elusivedisc is put of stock with the Aurum Classics.... so will have to wait till May...

As I wait for my make do replacement cartridge, I have managed to find some time to set up my Lp's on the rack!

All in alpahbetic order in each genre.

The good thing is that I really took time out this time around and sifted out the duplicate copies. Pretty soon, I'll list them out here. So, keep a look out folks!

 Having seen your collection I think It was necessary. It is always good to have thing neat and tidy and easily accessible.

here are some sneak peek's:

ZZ Top
Pink floyd
Deep Purple
Led Zep
Jimmy Hendrix and loads more!

UPDATE:

One of the biggest pains when shifting is the fact that the rest of the family wants everything else in place, before one even touches the music rig.

Well finally, the rest of the family is settled in. Nicely.

So, this sunday is when I started the ardous process of opening out my Cd boxes (the vinyl's got set last sunday).

In this process of setting up the CDs and DVDs I decided to wean out all the 'pirated' stuff. In the last few months my conscience has been goading me to take this step. So, finally, I decided to pay heed to it!

No more pirated copies of ANYTHING!

That leaves me with a substantially watered down collection of 800 CDs, 400 DVDs and about 200 VCDs!

I am happier for it!

Now for the arduous task of getting all those titles on Vinyl (I haven't bought a CD in 5 years and don't intent to either!)

Update 2:

The room almost set with the Vinyl's and the CDs & DVDs in place! The dedicated line for music (from the mains) is on place, so is the soanking new Emerson Liebert Online UPS 3 KVA - MX GT + (or something its called!).

The amps will be unpacked this weekend and the listening sessions will begin (hopefully by Sunday evening)!

That's when I will start listening for room correction. All in all things are falling into place once again!

Manav
Congratulations for the Emerson Leibert. And the Big B !
When are you revising your signature :)

soon bro! soon!

BTW, The Liebert is awesome! did a listen with and without and there is a HUGE difference! its the greatest value upgrade for me yet!

This evening I set up my backup cartridge on the table... will post pics of my new room soon!

(a nice white wine is chillin in the freezer, waiting for me to get back home!)

Any ideas on where one can buy a nice comfy sofa? Preferably a compact single seater?
