Hathway goes HD in Bangalore??

Started seeing a new message asking me to register with them before 31st August or else the service will be "downgraded". Not sure what this means. they have asked to contact the LCO to take it forward. Unfortunately my LCO is "un-contactable" most of the time. Nobody answers the phone. The only way we normally could get something done is when they come to collect the subscription money.
Have anybody "registered" yet with them ?
Btw, I now notice that they have changed the default language of HBO premium channels to English.

My LCO had taken all the information plus my address proof when I took HD connection. I don't think I need to give this information again to my LCO. If you have not given the details to LCO, you will have to do that.
Yeah, my local guy came (in a big hurry) and noted my STB and Smart Card nos. He also took an address and ID proof.
I asked him if we need to select individual channel preferences, to which he gave the usual "coming soon"...

HBO Premium channels are free till September 5th.
September 6th to December 31st, 2013
SD channels(Defined+Hits) - Rs49/month
HD channels(Defined+Hits) - Rs69/month
January 2014 onwards(Might change)
SD channels(Defined+Hits) - Rs99/month
HD channels(Defined+Hits) - Rs129/month
The rate is quite high. I am not sure how many will subscribe to these channels. It might take Ten Golf route where it is hard to find a person who has subscribed to it.

No hd box stock in bangalore. I have been waiting for almost 2 months now for the box. sad thing is nobody knows regarding when the stocks will be available. my cable operator said that they're going to change the box to intell box and even he doesn't have much information regarding this. when I tried to reach head office 1 person said it will take 15 days. When called next time anothert person said it will take more than 1 months for the stock come. I am wondering for providing connection if they are taking this much of time and no one showing any interest, how there service will be in case of any technical problem. Is any one having any information on this? Pls share ur thoughts. Thanks.
Did you try their service center in Ulsoor? When I had a service done there, I had seen few customers pick up SD boxes directly from there.
tYes I tried that number also. One person told me from there it will take at least one month for stock to come. He gave head office number to get more information on this. The lady from HO who picked call told me that it may take 2 weeks. But I came to know she is not very sure. She took my number and told that she will call me back. But till now there is no call from them. I don't feel like lstroubling my LCO I have already called him more than 50 time in this last two months
Any clue on price? I remember hearing it would be around 4.5k

Is any one facing lot of disturbance in many hd channels? Hbo hd channels are fine.

Looks like it was because of my cable issue. Seems to be fine now.
I'm sure most of you would have noticed that most channels are being reshuffled over the last few days. This has happened before but this time they seem to be reshuffling in a haphazard manner. News channels are going everywhere, GECs scattered!
Not sure who is behind the logic of the channel rearrangement but they need to stop.

I think it is happening and some channels have moved to 800+ numbers due to payment issues.
Same thing happened about a month back with Sony and ET now. Once the payment issue was resolved, the channels came back to their original positions.

Hi All....I need one urgent information from you. Atlast my Hathway HD box is getting activated either today or tomorrow. But meanwhile I came to know that recoding option would not be activated and also USBs will not work...Need to know more information on this. Can some one please confirm if anyone is using these option ?

There is no recording option available in HD box. Even USB recording is not possible. They have a USB port which they might enable in the future for recording.
There were reports that Hathway might launch HD DVR boxes in next few months.

Hey....Got the box and its working fine. Though the picture quality is good but still i feel face contrast not matching. Possible that my be cable wire which is very good could be reason for the same. I am asking my cable operator to the change the same.
I am unable to auto fix the size of HD and non-hd channel with my tv. If HD is viewed with full screen then when i move to non-hd I am getting black bars in side...Is there any setting in SET Up box for the same ?
