Hathway goes HD in Bangalore??

Hey....Got the box and its working fine. Though the picture quality is good but still i feel face contrast not matching. Possible that my be cable wire which is very good could be reason for the same. I am asking my cable operator to the change the same.

I am unable to auto fix the size of HD and non-hd channel with my tv. If HD is viewed with full screen then when i move to non-hd I am getting black bars in side...Is there any setting in SET Up box for the same ?

Ten HD is blank for the past few days. Is it the same for others in Bangalore too?

The two "premium" HBO HD channels are now blocked and we probably need to subscribe to get them.

I am having pixellation issues in all HD channels and esp. more in Nat Geo set. Need to check with cable operator on signal quality at my home.

I was told that there is some issue with the decoder of Ten HD. But I guess it is because of payment issues. I was told that the channel will be back in next 2 days(common reply).

Yesterday I was seeing pixellation in all the HD channels.

Select Menu on STB remote --->Press red button -->Select System Setup--->Enter 0000 as the password--->Select Installation Setup--->TV Setup--->Select TV Type as HD, TV Size 16:9 and Fit to screen for On receiving 4:3 input video

Select 1080i resolution in HD Setup

Folks, Any idea where News 9 disappeared? It used to be on channel 256

Check Channel 858. Some of the channels are moved to 850+ numbers due to payment issues.

Had problem with the box and re-activated the box now. HD is on now. But still not getting sound for Movies Now HD (not sure whether its problem with my box orchennel problem) and also I dont get programme details majority of the times. Alway it will show "no information available" is it normal for other users as well ?

If you are not getting sound, try setting the sound format to PCM. Menu---Settings---User setup---Audio

About the EPG, it happens when the STB is started and becomes fine after some time.

It is a new movie channel by Times Group. It airs Comedy+Romantic movies. Hence, the name Romedy Now.

Just a query guys. I was today quoted a price of 6500 for a hd box + hd channels for 1 yr. But the guy wasnt sure if 6500 includes pricing for sd channels as well.

How much are you guys paying/paid for hd box + hd channels + sd channels for 1 yr.

As far as I know the HD box costs Rs 2500(just the box without any HD/SD channel subscription). HD channel for one year is Rs2200. SD channel cost varies depending on the area and in DAS areas it depends on the package that they have subscribed to.

Guys those who are using Hathway HD, how's the picture quality? Is it comparable with DTH operators like AirTel or Tata Sky?
