Help... We cannot control the volume when playing music through the Cube. Even the remote for the av receiver cannot control the volume. The setting number changes with no effect on the volume. When streaming, we can control the volume with the Yamaha remote. Is the audio portion of Amazon's cube compatible with the Yamaha RX V-375? This situation is not helped by the fact that I am a 74 year old novice at electronics, tech, and anything more complicated than a shoelace. Any help or advice would be greatly apprreciated.

Mail yamaha support with your concern, i am not familiar with amazon cube or else i would have given you pointers

Cube should work with Alexa command, "Alexa, lower the volume". Alternatively, cube has vol- push button which can decrease volume.
