My name is Amit Verma and I am new in this community.
Some days ago I was planning to buy new HT under 20K budget.
I shortlisted Sony ht iv-300 and Yamaha yht-196 and listened both systems, and finally I selected IV-300 because YHT-196 has low bass and less features compare to IV-300.
Definitely I will go with brand AVR(like Yamaha/Onkyo) later after 2-3 yrs.
Just one question : can anybody please tell me how to set Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby True HD sound in IV-300 while watching movie if possible ? System specification (HT-IV300 : Home Theatre Component System : Home Theatre System : Sony India) shows it has both features: Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby TrueHD.
