Hisense TVs India Price and availability - Blocked by Hisense!

56 is great considering Q80R has 50 and I think X9500G also has 50.

Another thing to consider is Hi-view engine of Hisense vs Cevo engine of Toshiba. It might be that the Cevo engine won't be as good as the Hi-view, which would affect PQ in general.

It's 99.99% just a rebrand of the same thing. If you're reusing the panel and the hardware, and the existing algorithm works great you won't change it. Why make the effort unless you will make it better. Also Hisense owns Toshiba. So more chance of it being the same thing.

It's like how Samsung calls their phone panels super AMOLED, while Apple calls it Retina XDR and OnePlus calls it Optic AMOLED. It's the same damn thing.

Did you open it yourself? Why is the power cable outside the box?
I really hope you dont into trouble for opening it yourself if you did that.

It came with Open Box inspection, so I had the Amazon delivery guys open it and power it on.
Installer didn't care and actually commended me for doing it.

Even I’m interested in u80 as well. Honestly I don’t care it’s h9g or not. If it performs as per the specs at 1 lakh then its a great buy. I think we should remove h9g from our mind. What we r getting in India is u8080 and if it perform well , reviews are good then we should definitely consider this tv.
It's already listed on Flipkart as 1.34L right, are you still hopeful that it will be available for below 1 Lakh ?

65u7980 just got delivered. Installer should be coming in the next 1hour or so.
As others have stated, this looks to be the H8F from last year. Let me know if you guys want me to check anything

Congrats man. I am super excited for you. Could run these tests and count the number of dimming zones.

For HDR

Non HDR test

Test playlist to check uniformity, local dimming, black levels

Oh thank you. Just checked it out.

What's the price of the model of HiSense 55 inch QLED model? If not launched then when it's going to launch?

How is the motion flow frequency in Hisense 55 inch 4K LED A71F model. Though it's a 60Hz panel but what about MEMC support as I watch mostly action movies and sports. I also own playstaion 4 and will get playstation 5 as soon as it comes.

You better off not getting that crap TV
Go for Samsung frame or Toshiba U79 or U80

Samsung the frame looks really amazing since it has got cheapest 120Hz panel for the price. It has HDMI 2.1 for PS5 support. Also it supports MEMC for smooth flow. But it doesn't support dolby vision and that is a bummer since it will cost 85k whereas 38k HiSense offers.

How is this new model by Samsung 4K 55inch model? It is a new 2020 model and offers MEMC support. It will cost me 45k and that is 7k more than HiSense.

Peak brightness is <300 nits. Check rtings. Forget A71 and go for U79 withh 700 nits at 45k which is the H8x or samsung frame if u can afford. Everything except frame and Q series is not worth in samsung.

Sorry I got confused you mean Hisense 55A71F has less than 300 nits or the frame has less than 300nits? What's the peak brightness of Hisense A71F?
Toshiba U79 has 700 nits on paper, don't know what would be real world. Looks great but doesn't have hotstar and zee5 like basic apps. Also it's undeliverable in my city online through reliance digital.

Samsung tv you linked in post has <300 nits.

If it has less than 300 nits then having feature like HDR10+ is fake marketing. Also I can't find review of that Samsung 55" TUE60A model anywhere including rtings. Please provide me link from where you get to know.
Samsung the frame 2020 55" model on rtings review suggests 565 nits of peak brightness in HDR. That is decent for recognize something in HDR.
If someone know peak brightness of HiSense 55A71F, please comment.
Toshiba U79 review is also unavailable to get to know real brightness.

These are higher up models than TUE60. TUE60 wont be any better than the below.

From samsung india site TUE60 is 52k and TU8000 is 68k for 55". It will be a miracle if TUE60 is better. It looks like a india specific stripped down model of TU7000.

Toshiba U79 is essentially Hisense H8F rebranded as toshiba with Vidaa and possibly different image processing software..
