now im thinking of getting the andrew jones sp fs52 towers with a pioneer vsx523kor a denon x1000 and that would cost me either 48k or 55k resp and planning to add a sub woofer later, or i would get a andrew jones 5.0 speaker set which would cost me 37k and add a vsx 523k(27k) or denon x1000(34k), and then when my budget permits i would get a sub woofer, like i said the demo's available in cochin are very very few, only profx had a demo setup, i did a demo of denon x1000 with polk rm6750 5.1 system, found that the satellites were impressive but the sub woofer was really disappointing, or i would get the BA soundware S 5.1 with the vsx 523k for 57k, i dont think the BA's can match andrew jones considering the fact that they are just 2 way satellite with a 89mm woofer and a .75inch tweeter, andrew jones from the demo's that i got from youtube has good bass even without a sub. the ones that i have listened includes a pioneer 823mkii system (worst) such a waste of money for 64k jbl scs140/230 5.1 with HK 151 avr, sub is good but the speakers are too bright

Sujith can you share where you found andrew jones 5.0 for 37k`?

hifilink cochin, i mailed them up and they sent me the price for pioneer sp fs 52 for 23k and the andrew jones 5.0 setup for 37k, xeness told me they could do the whole AJ system for 45k

almost fixed on andrew jones 5.0 system and most probably will be getting a pioneer avr vsx 523k or a denon x 1000.
how are things at your end? have you decided on speakers and avr?

i am yet to get them, they are rated highly by everyone the cost here in cochin is 45k for the 5.1 set and 37k for the 5.0 set

i have not auditioned them, couldnt do it, was planning to go yesterday, but heavy rains prevented me:sad: but i guess it should be a gud package, since the reviews that the AJ's allover the internet seems to be great

thomsun music house (edapalli) has pioneer towers as demo for stereo setup, i don't remember whether it was AJ sp fs52 towers.

I will be definitely going to check them this Saturday, even i have heard the pioneer towers in lulu and believe me they sounded horrible, the package which i heard was the 823 mkii package

heard the roth audio and the q acoustics floor standers on saturday excellent speakers, ROTH had a bit more bass compared to q acoustics, tonal quality is excellent for of them rich highs and mids with the lows that are perfect for music and most movies. Price 55k and 61k resp

and btw the bookshelves and the center channel speakers are huuuugggge, would have to get a shelf done to place the bookshelves, i got it for 35k, melvin gave me a discount (thanks Melvin) from hifilink opp. jawaharlal nehru stadium kaloor

Hey, you got the AJ 5.0 with the floorstanders for 35k, right?
That's a great deal you got! I bought the floorstanders for 20k. In talks with a dealer for BS22 and CS22 for about 15k.
How much did you pay for the Denon X1000?
