I'll PM the name and address. The ETA is still not decided but it would not be later than 15th of this month. The Onkyo Representative was to tell the dealer about the stock delivery. The delaer's stock is arriving on 9th and then once again at around 15th.

And not a problem, you can pick at your ease. It'll stay with the seller till the time you pick it up.

I'll cut full lengths as per my room requirements. Won't be using the stock wires at all. So not soldering/twisting needed.

Arre I'm asking about the "tip/end" part that you insert inside the receiver/speaker !

I am in touch with the seller. Due to Diwali things are a little messed up. I talked to him yesterday but he told that Monday he will let us know everything.

In any case, I'll be letting you all know about the deal status, here on this thread. If you want to call the seller yourself, you can surely do that.

Right now busy downloading some HD movies with DOlby Master Audio The first one is Avatar 1080p (downloading it again,just for the kicks)

Yupp. I've my source player as an HTPC. A gaming rig cum HTPC. Phenom II X4, ATI 5770 for hardware acceleration, 4GB DDR3 RAM.

Finally I'd be able to test the HD bitstreaming capabilities of my 5770. Can't wait.

Does this avr upscale? Any idea which is the cheapest Avr either standalone or as a part of htib that can upscale?

I do not think this one upscales. But why would you need that ? Its so hyped feature even when the world is moving towards HD.

BTW in my case, the ATI 5700 upsclaes to 1080p but I seldom use any source that is not HD.

And please understand the upscaling is still an algorithm. It can't add any more detail to the source stream. Shouldn't really be bothered about that.

Just to update you all on this, 15th is the date committed to the dealer by Onkyo. I'd just add up a day or two to this estimate, to be on the safer side so 17th is the one when we can collect our stuff from the dealer.
