Most of the time, vendors hesitate to accept AMEX. I believe it involves a great deal of hassle for them to get the payments cleared from AMEX compared to other card vendors.

Thanks. I called the LG Brandshop (Sumaria) at Opera House, they instantly quoted 9k CB on HDFC cards. Not sure about Amex.
Stocks available. They couldn't share prices over the phone.

Checked at Croma. Very rude, 1.31L for the 55B9 and 1.40L for the 55C9.
7.5k CB on HDFC. Refused to entertain Amex totally, despite the notice being up on the LG website.
