I highly doubt if he has rights to any of the stuff he is selling, selling stuff without getting the rights for it is Piracy !!
Avoid buying remastered and upmixed 5.1 DTS CDs done by pirates, they do not have the proper setup for remastering and also their stuff is not made from the original masters or recordings which are usually used as the source for proper remastering.

I placed query in Raja sir's Official site too to release best of Raja's albums.Atleast 50 of the best albums get released or available in flac\WAV it would be good.Lets see.But if someone come to market it would be great.Even ARR's CD\OST are so rare to find its really tough to get Raja sir's OST's.

Hi all, need a feedback from fellow FMs. ORIENTAL RECORDS, USA have almost all of the IR's old Album in CD and they do not despatch to India. As at present exchange rate, 5$ comes to 325 Rs, is it worth to get the CDs thru some one from US

Oriental Records CDs do have reasonable quality some of them are very good. I would say go ahead if you can get those CDs. 325/- per CD is fine especially since there is no other possibility to get them bulk from anywhere else at this price.
I though Oriental Records USA had closed down and does not sell CDs anymore. It would be good if they are still in business. I would also like to get few of them missing from my collection. Please let me know if you are successful in getting those.

The present visible legal purchases of quality AAC format of illayaraaja 's Tamil movie songs have gone in to smoke. Yes, lot of movie songs / Albums which were available in iTunes stores have been removed from the stores. So, now have to search in all those xyz sites which provides in MP3.

Guys, Today I got 320Kbps Version of Karagatakaran and Anjali (He said that it was recorded from LP to CD)
No Words to express my feelings, Just blown away. The Instruments and voice and just coming out ease "Live like presentation" Now am very upset Since I cannot feel the joy for lot of other Raja Sir's Music.
Anywhere in this world, we could get the OST.
The bad part is that we (at least the people have access only to Cassette and Digital Era) are exposed only to a mediocre quality sources and no way to feel the Original versions.
I should have born in before 1970 so ,might got access to the LP's or after 2000 i would have fallen in the Pit of Hazardous music
and would have died without knowing what the music is actually about.
Could someone give links for any Source for 320Kbps\CD's\Flac(yes am greedy Only)

Thats right, To be frank am planning to move back to Cassettes or CD's Now in stead of Digital Collection.What is the use of having Nice amp or speaker or cable or PC to play the files, if the Good quality files are not accessible.
FLAC\Any Loss less format is almost a day dream
CD Prices are like rocket, To be frank I may not able to spend 500-1000 Rs for a Single CD( Am not so rich to spend)
LP's you cannot expect much clean LP's and even they should be too rare to find and costly too.
So only the possible or the Option to try is Cassette- Because the Original Cassette's were released in High number than LP's in 80's or 90's and there were no CD or Digital that time.
Possible going through District by district for the old Recording shops, We might get some old stocks .
Funny part is Now for New movie\Music CD\FLAC even the LP are available and affordable,But they are just have Music in Papers

I am having a good collection of Original Audio CD of Oriental,Inreco,Saregama,
Universal etc. Most of the CDs quality were very good.

There is a Seller in Bangalore Who has Pyramid CD's of Few Raja Sir's Albums and he is Looking for Just 2.5K for each CD But ARR CD's are pretty Cheap too Range starts from 15k Only and the reason he says is that they are Sealed.
If anyone here have lot of money and dont know what to do ,they get these cheap Priced CD's.
I just hanged over the Phone when I heard this Price,How crazy these people are thinking people who love music are Morons.
