I heard this song some years back in my friends Laptop :-)interesting thing for me is not the Song was used by BEP,But the Clarity of the Voice,Where they got such a quality Audio Source of Raja Sir :-)

I am wondering to buy Illayaraja`s mp3 cd due to unavailability of audio cd`s. Later i found some mp3 cds labeled Copyright owner Raaja Digital co.,.Is this worthy (at mp3 level)? and where to get agi music cds in chennai. (Empress audio replied all of sold)

Just got few CDs from Inreco today evening out of which two CDs were below par. Rs.175 worth R.D Burman collection was a CD-R with scratches. Rs.125 worth Yesudas Chitrageetham collection was also a CD-R with scratches. All the CDs were sealed. Packing was decent too.

There is a return policy for the CDs but shipping should be afforded by the customer which is not worth the time or money. First I was tricked by 600024(dot)com and lost money and now Inreco with below par service. They offered order tracking and I never got any details till now.
 
its a curse that despite having excellent music in tamil film industry we cannot have access to hi-ref files. we have to put-up with the mp3. its sad that even modern day music directors don't feel the need to release their music in hi-res.
 
If you haven't listened to Thara Thapattai yet, please abandon all your things and listen it first. Very very happy to hear the use of traditional tamil instruments tavil, urumi, nathaswaram. What a score for his 1000th film.

I did Listen to Thara Tapattai, But I was Looking for a song like "karumathur katukulle " Virumandi, That wise am disappointed.

But I felt feeling like in my village,when I listen to Thara tapatta songs, the Instruments and the way its been composed, Just realistic :-)

As usual Raja song rocked in Country folk
 
very hard to get Illayaraja's old acds! im trying my best to collect all, already have a good collection ! when listen to them in high quality it's just a new world !!!:yahoo:
 
Extremely pleased by the recording quality of Tharai Thapattai. Almost, all other composers are not giving a $h*t about clipping. But, this album is serenely recorded. Even Rahman's albums like Kadal, O Kadhal Kanmani, I etc are clipped. Especially the recording of "I" is pathetic. Just wanted to share my gratitude to whoever behind this wonderful recording of Tharai Thapattai :clapping:.

Ilayaraaja engages with fans digitally

On Pongal day, he launches an online radio channel, a web television and a digital store

Taking his digital connect with his fans a step forward, maestro Ilayaraaja launched his online radio channel, a web TV and a online digital store on Friday.

Making an announcement about www.raajafm.com and www.ilayaraaja.tv on his Facebook Page, he said the FM portal would have a 24x7 FM radio facility that would play his songs through the day.

As a part of the Online TV Feature, I hope to keep sharing and connecting with my fans through question and answer sessions and live webcasts, dates for which will be announced in advance, he said in a video, uploaded on Facebook Page.

Speaking about his digital store in the video, he said fans and music lovers could legally buy songs as well as order copies of CDs.

On the first short video podcast released on the websites, the maestro, who has composed music for 1,000 films, is seen answering a few questions and sharing his thoughts about the significance of the Pongal festival.

The websites also have a calendar that lists upcoming events in which he is participating. Ilayaraajas announcement about the launch of the website on social media gained a lot of traction among his fans, many of whom said they appreciated the Raaja FM feature.

Ilayaraaja, whose latest release is director Balas Thaarai Thapattai , is said to be scoring music for Amma Kanakku produced by actor Dhanushs Wunderbar. The film stars Samuthirakani, Amala Paul and Revathi, as was announced by actor Dhanush on his microblogging page.

Durning my pongal holidays,picked all oriental from Trichy (only three audio stores now do sales).the salesperson told all oriental ACDs were picked by Malayasians
Among 15ACDs only few were good.looking forward for our Rajaa sir physical ACD.
Hoping for early release.
