Guys,

I need experts advice on this. I have a Sony EX650 32" TV. It is not 3D. I watched Imax Under world sea, and some more Anaglyph 3D playing from my laptop. Wasn't bad. But i wont say i had great 3d experience.

Now am planning to buy a BD Player either panasonic or sony. my question is

If i buy 3D BD player is that enough to watch all kind of 3Ds or Do i really need 3D TVs to watch 3D content?

Is there any technical limitations?

Regards,
Lenin

Its other way round.
you require 3d tv but you can play 3d clips from non 3d device too. (Side by side clips downloaded from net through media player/ PC).

Anaglyph will not require 3d tv but watching for long time in green /cyan colour can be pain and also dosen't offer that enjoyment as real 3d.

Of course when you add all 3d devices in the chain (tv, player and discs) it will create a good quality 3d.

To watch 3D movies, you need a 3D BDP, 3D TV, 3D glasses and high speed HDMI cable ...

Downloaded 3D content, typically 3D-SBS movies, do not require a 3D BDP. You can simply hook up the hard-disk or media player to the TV to play the file. The content is displayed initially like a 2D movie with two frames side-by-side. But you do need a 3D TV and matching glasses. You can press the 3D button on the TV remote to converge the two frames displayed into a 3D frame.

Since your TV (EX650) is not a 3D model, it cannot display 3D movies of any kind. Anaglyph 3D movies (watched with blue and red glasses) are long past gone. I am not sure that you get them any more though some old ones may be lurking around somewhere.
