Is E6 the best LED that Panasonic has ever produced?

I'm also confused between sony w670 & panasonic e6 in 42".
Unable to decide which one to get, panasonic e6 looks are more better than sony though but sony user interferance is good, which one to get ?
I'm getting panasonic e6 for - 52500 (with bill) & sony w670 for 49500 (grey).

Well...I don't see any confusion here...for mere 3k more u r getting a led with bill/warranty which is no less then w670 n even better in some ways.
As I said earlier, the most important is the 3 yr warranty on panny vs no warranty on w670(grey).
I mean it's a no brainer question, I am not even considering those brands where I am not getting a standard 3 yr warranty.

Btw, seeing the low price ur getting on the e6d, u seem to be from Delhi ?

Panasonic gives 5 yr warranty internationally...I wish it starts offereing it here too. Even at an additional cost, i won't hesitate getting it.

User interface is far, far less important than picture quality. The Sony W670 is no match for the Panny E6D.

Hi buddy,
I bought from grey previous & all were going good, if we leave aside warranty then which one to get ?
Yes i'm from delhi, will try to get price lower than 52.5 of panasonic.
You're on team-bhp I guess, aren't you ?

hi, well I was on t-bhp, not anymore. Anyways, even I have a Sony LCD bought from the grey n no issues yet. But, the quality today isn't the same n the newer LEDs are not as reliable as before. One can see too many examples even this forum itself of panel failures etc.
I too was planning to get one from the grey but backed off after seeing so many complaints.
Anyways, even if we leave the warranty aside. The e6d is hard to ignore...it is a brilliant set...n I can't say it's way better the w670 but it's no way any less n in some ways might even be better.
Both the tvs have got 5/5 stars from whathifi...where the input lag is better in Sony but e6 has the deepest blacks. Infact is deeper then most flagship LEDs aswell.
Each comes with few negligible flaws n advantages over the other...go through the whathifi n HDTVtest UK reviews n decide for yourself what is more important to u.
Thus, it's a close call...but I would go with the E6 just for the piece of mind, actually I have already finalized the E6 for myself too... ;)

BTW, if u do decide to go for the E6D, pls lemme know the best price u get n from where...thanks.

Agree with you mate, if anything happens then we are done if we buy from grey, seen the models again, must say panasonic one looks very vibrant, sony is over hyped in india, I like the led light (light in centre) on sony model looks cool though, E6 Picture quality Is ace as compared to w670.
i'm buying tomorrow hopefully ( I went to buy today too but came back as wasn't sure which one to buy) Need to sort asap lol
Will tell you, cheapest I get Is 52.5k ( with some kitchenware free worth of 1k)
Thanks buddy for the helpful reply.

The my home screen feature is interesting for smart tv users.
Each of the family member can customize his or her home screen with the apps that they like to see on it.
I hope there is a personalized screen saver that can be set to greet them individually.
This is a neat virtualization feature.

59k is a high price.most of the shops where offering it for around 55k. I think Panasonic has different E series available in india like em,e6 etc.

congrats Guys .. can any one of you kindly provide us some information on viewing angles like
1) if a person sits 10 feet away and moves two meters to the sideways from center or
2)the distance when a person feels the viewing is not good

3) if 4 persons sit with one metre distance between them

Thanks
Saran

I would say you have degradation starting from around 35 deg off axis viewing angle which is pretty much the standard for LED TVs.
This site gives viewing angle of TVs in their reviews. Unfortunately the E6 is not there.
