Is E6 the best LED that Panasonic has ever produced?

Yesterday , happened to see the Samsung series 8 led at my colleague's place who bought it for 1.66 lakh a 55 inches.
With lots of hopes I carried my old Sony bdp along with some reference bds.
It was absolutely disappointing.
Tried movie and standard modes. I should say disgusting. None looked natural. The movie mode was grainy. Colors were unnatural. I tweaked the backlight and contrast. Could get rid of grain. But the picture is no where as natural as the et 60 that I have seen earlier or for that matter the legendary Sony hx850.
Guys, stick to Panasonic leds for natural colors and believable picture.
This seems unlikely

I agree with @Dirac on that matter. Panasonic really produces more natural colors than Samsung. I've seen that recently when I compared my DT60 with my friend's Samsung 42" LED (don't know the model).

Pssh !! Don't tell this to my friend, he'll be disheartened :indifferent14:

I bought 42E6 a year back and today i noticed that the whole screen has a white shade to it.Something like a white layer over the normal picture with regular tv/video playing.Looks like some loose connection or something.

Removed all wire/cables and connected it again with no use.Gave a slight pat on the back to motivate him and suddenly it started working normally.

I was not able to take picture as it is working fine now.Is this related to any defect in panel/tv?

4years and 5 months . My 42e6d has stopped working. No display only sound. Had warranty only for 3yrs. Called Pana service guys. They came and checked and says panel problem. Need replacement of panel. Total cost 32k . I had not used TV for 7months in between( 2 yr back). So rough running years 4 yrs. Anyone else have encountered same problem? What did you do to rectify or did u dump and got a new panel?

4 years and 5 months?! I would say its already a great mileage for a modern day LED panel. My first LG 42 edge lit - 3 years and some months. Second 40 samsung backlit- 2 years and some months. Put some money more and get a new TV , if there is no warranty on the new panel.
