Dear Friends,
It feels wonderful to be with my HT setup comprise Monitor Audios, Sunfire, Denon and Pioneer. HFV members were always keen to help me in deciding the best. The time has come where I have to look for my secondary setup due to relocation to Dubai. I humbly request you to help me in finalizing my next system.
My requirement are:
1. As I already shelled out a fortune in my first setup, dont want to shell out hard earned money in electronics anymore, yet I need a system which will not compromise on sound quality within a budget of INR 30-40K max. Any sound bars or HTIBS (or a doc) will serve the purpose for 60% music and balance for movies. I prefer to use my laptop as input and would require Wi-Fi to play from my iPhone via Air Playit.
2. Buy a high end amp, bring to my hometown and carry back my existing Denon AVR 1612. If so, what speakers ?
3. The system should not take huge space yet I need to enjoy music all-over
I might not look at bookshelves (though understand that nothing can substitute) as I will be dumping the same once I get another job somewhere else. Heard Yammy HTIBs and was impressed with over all quality, but yet to consider due to lack of Wi-FI. Considered minx setup but again expensive and need to buy amp separately. Is sonos is the way to go ??:sad:
