JBL cinema 300 + Denon 1312

I am new to this forum.

I was planning to buy a new home theatre, kindly suggest if below combo would go well as match. my budget is around 40k-50k.

JBL cinema 300 and Denon 1312 AVR.

With that money you can get much better combo. For starters I would suggest you to visit a few HT stores and audition the HTIB packages and SUB sat systems in your budget.Below are few stores where you can listen to some systems.

Denon 1312 is a good entry level receiver. You can demo some good 5.1 speaker systems to go along with the 1312. Some of them are:

These are some of the systems you can demo and then decide what sounds the best.

@rohitpuri, you can go for Yamaha 373 as it's the newest entry level AVR. Also you can consider Denon 1512. But first of all you have to declare your budget.

Getting JBL 300 - 20 K (It has got a 150 w active sub)
Yamaha 3064 (371) - 20 K
Do u think that Denon 1513 will pair better with JBL ?
My usage will be mostly movies 80 % and music 20%
Space does not allow for floor standers

If preference is movies then you can consider denon 1513 as Yamahas have little edge over music than movies. And with 80% pref to the movies, you are likely to get better SQ with Denon. I can not comment on JBL package as I never had an audition before with JBL. But if 45K is your budget then you can even consider Boston Acoustics Soundware XS 5.1 which is available at 24K (you can get some reduction after negotiations) which would be good with both 371 and 1513 as per your budget.

I today went to reliance, amdience mall and they did not have Yamaha 371/3 or denon 1312/1513.
Went to studio 4 -
Did not have JBL 300
Heard JBL 200.5 speakers and Harman AVR 70
Liked it but he was quoting 45,000 total which i thought was on the higher side and i have not heard about the avr very much
Anybody out there who can throw some light on AVR 70

Stay away from Harmon Kardon AVRs. They don't have much support in India and they are not very reliable. Go to Delhi, Audition Denon AVR + Boston acoustics Soundware XS.
