Sorry! My bad... Thanks for the information... I am not sure whether it is legal to charge seriously different prices across different markets - I am talking about MRP. The implied fx is as high as 143 in a few models. If I factor in an import duty of 33%, it comes out to 108! US$/INR exchange rate is less than 68. Hedging currency by marking up by 59% (after accounting for duty) is a crime... It's like cross-subsidizing other markets. Again, I am talking about MRP or SRP in USA, etc. and not the price at which they are selling (those prices are much less than their SRPs, so can't even imagine the mark-up over their prices).

At least, the 55E6 (OLED) is priced in the same vicinity!

Looking to buy 55E6T ASAP. Can someone please help me fetch in Gurgaon? My 51E8000 Plasma has multiple issues so have to switch urgently. Was eagerly waiting for B or C series for price advantage.

Sincerely appreciate any help.as am new here.

Anybody had any luck with buying LG 2016 models in hyderabad?

I tried in many stores croma, reliance, pai electronics etc., but none seem to have 2016 models..

Appreciate any suggestions or help in finding a store which has this year models.

On 7th July inquired in Croma Rcity Mumbai, they had LG 2016 2 models

43UH650T - 75K with 2 years warranty and 49UH650T
43UH750T - 80K

on amzonn 43UH650T is 67k with 1 year warranty

Bought 49UH850T for 1.19Lac this weekend pics not good for watching at night in dark room due to side bleeding but except for that everything is magnificent

I would suggest you go for a replacement. I had a simlar problem with my 32" lg led tv and it too had side bleeding and same as u i was not liking watching it in dark room, i called my dealer he checked it and confirmed its a panel problem and he provided me with a replacement, and fortunately this time it had no such problem.
You have spend 1.19 lac on a product with with you are not satisfied, and this is also not a good part on lg which failed in quality control and that too on high end tvs. So ask them for a replacement.

The lg guy came and told it's under acceptable limits and its not too bad to say I was just looking for perfection also this is common problem with this model most have bleeding verified on avsforums as well

Oh okay, I earlier had a sony lcd which had a perfect black sceen in dark and when I bought lg i quickly found out that something is not ok with the panel, then after researching i found its called light bleed, i had a small 1" light bleed patch in the corner and i mostly watch tv in dark room at night so it was quite frustrating for me and i being very picky about perfection I complained it to my dealer, my dealer told me that he had not got many people complaining for this issue even if they were experiencing it, but he was quite generous to solve my problem.

Does anyone know whether LG will release 65UH650T in India? Or 65UH750T? They have launched their Super HD 65UH770T (the lowest price that I could find it for was Rs. 2.57 lakhs).

55 inches , the sales person has hinted that the price may come down because of the "onam festival offer"

Thanks. That's what I thought. 65" can't be had for such a price.

I still can't get over the fact that a TV like 65UH7700 costs US$ 1700 in USA (suggested retail price) but costs INR 320,000 in India (65UH770T). Yup, you can factor in USA's sales tax, India's import duty and a buffer for Fx fluctuation. But still... Last year, the conversion factor used to be 100. This year it's 140-160!

Hi Dinjo,

Im really looking at getting the 55UH850T. How do you rate it. Asking since you have the same TV in 49 inches. ALso looked at Sony's new range. But way beyond budget.

55 would be around 1.6 the tv is really good only problem with night time viewing the black levels are not so good compared to other brands other than that it's the best TV better upscaling, better hdr even compared to Sony I have seen both Sony and lg hdr video from Sony which actually works better in lg.

Also there is a negative of sound but I'm not finding sound to be low but very good, also after calibration the movies look really good saw gods of Egypt and batman vs superman yesterday 14gb rip and its breath taking experience

Do demo both Sony and lg and take decision if you are not interested in 3d you can look for Uh770t but apart from 3d there are less colors in 770

Price update! !I
LG 55 UH 850T. ....1,42,000/
LG 55 E6T OLED. ...2,42,000/-
I am in a dilemma as to which one to go for...oled vs uhd
Please advice

are you sure that it is 55B6 or 55BE6? if it is E6 - it is an high end model and 2,42,000 is every penny worth you pay.
