I am no expert but collecting the opinions across various forums and websites:
1.Picture quality - Is nearly at par in both the TVs.The brightness may be slightly more in Samy but not very significant.The SD tuner of 2011 XD engine in LG and Samsung's engine may be more or less equivalent (but somebody can review).LG has no brightness pop issues.
2.Well, even here both have the problem and avoided by lighting control.LG claims to have a AR filter but still...
3.LG's illustrious cousin PK550R of last year has been a reliable performer.So, guess this will be one too..
4.As seen in all forms and my personal experience with LG, service is lot better than others.
But, somebody who has had the demo of PZ550 can comment and give the real picture

I think its Bajaj Electroncs.
When I enquired at Bajaj Electronics (back in December), I was bluntly quoted 67K with 2 glasses. He was not willing to give a better price other than that!
63K was from Kundan Digital, jubilee hills.
