ya i got it for 1.6 damn...killer price though at 1.35.

Congrats to both of you.

Avijeet i set up the wireless keyboard, works fine, but there is a bit of lag.

Yes 1.35 is killer deal....
M yet to pay my dealer... I sure he won't entertain any request.

Yes I tried my Logitech wireless mouse... it worked... I guess it's of no use as the menu is not that swift.

One of the best feature is HDMI-ARC support.. which means only one HDMI from home theater to tv both as video input and audio ouput from TV to Home Theater. Unfortunately my current HTIB doesn't support it.

There one more feature called Intel Wi-Di support. Wireless Display. 2012 Dell laptop series has that feature. So no need to connect wire from Laptop u can wirelessly stream your screen to TV.

There is also a DVR feature.... but I guess they are yet to launch Apps for that.

Dual play is really good too for the gaming sessions me and my bro have together. Over all very happy with the purchase.

Yes dual play is good I won't say great...

As at times u can see ghosting of other players screen.... but no doubt it's better than split screen.

I tried with Mario Kart on Wii

currently I am experimenting with the settings keeping the cnet settings as base.

M yet to understand the function True Motion.

When it's off cricket looks smooth...

Weekend passed tweaking the tv.

@ssn1412 - as I knew the dealer well he gave huge discount - almost at his NNLC (DP - discount), pretty sure that any dealer can give this price if he wants to, but most will not! Interesting thing is though he charged me 1.35L, the bill he gave me was for Rs 1.7L ;-)

@Athek & Avijeet - guys enjoy the 3d ride with these movies... also would really appreciate if you can share the calibration settings for your tv.

M yet to calibrate the tv... still searching for a reliable source.

Have you tried PLEX in Media Link... it's awesome.

You can add 3rd party channels also....

Thanks, pokayoke. Will it be possible for you to ask for the same deal for one more set? I wouldnnt mind driving down to pune and picking it up myself.

In that context buying this tv from Bangkok Thailand will cost cheaper.

TV price is 30% cheaper in Thailand
+ custom 6000 approx.
But no India warranty

But technically trip is free.

TV price in Bangkok is close to half the price of India. The Indian grey market price itself is close 30% plus discount to the original best price.

Yes true... I even thought of buying 55" or 60" from bangkok in my next trip... but again was skeptical of the transport safety from Kolkata to Bhubanwswar

I know bout rest.. previously bought 2 Sony sets from there... way back in Sept 2010.

Avijeet .. I am on the same boat brother..I am holding my LED purchase as I am planning to go to Bangkok next year for holidaying..
BTW you can book flight from Kol to Bhubaneswar as well right and take the TV as check in?

Not sure bout how much domestic airlines will charge for extra large luggage. AirAsia didn't charge a penny as it was within the limit of the pre purchased baggage.

I brought those sets home in my Captiva. .. 40" was a tight fit.

You may please refer to the airline sites bagage regulations.. I think Indigo charges are on the lower side..

Indigo going to start flight from Kolkata to Bangkok from 21st Dec.

Tickets available approx 4.5k

Just FYI
