Lg 55lm7600

In that context buying this tv from Bangkok Thailand will cost cheaper.

TV price is 30% cheaper in Thailand
+ custom 6000 approx.
But no India warranty

But technically trip is free.

"One night in Bangkok" makes a hard man humble......(Murray Head) :ohyeah:

1.35 lakhs INR ==> THB 65,610 (Official ROE 1 INR = 0.486 THB) should cover the expenses for the TV. (Welcome to KASIKORNBANK - KASIKORNBANK)

LM7600 costs around THB 52,000-54,000 (unofficial price). The official price has come down to THB 62,990 in some stores.

Exchange your INR in Phahurat to get better hundi rates (0.55-0.60).

This would get you more than the 55" LED. :licklips:

Please note that you do not get 35k baggage duty exemption if you are abroad for less than 72 hours.

There a considerable decrease in contrast at a certain angle.....
I need to find out the viewing angle specs....

Has ne1 else has experienced this issue.... Or is it only with my tv?

Just as the image retention and reflections issue is overhyped in case of plasma, so is the angle of view issue overstated in case of LCD/LED. Yes, it is true that when watching from an angle, picture clarity, contrast, etc. will suffer slightly in case of the LCD panel but how many will watch TV at an acute angle? In my honest opinion, no one will sit more than 40 off the centre and that too is a lot.

Remember to set-up the audio input in your HTIB as optical for the source that this cable will connect into.

Simplink working great with my Philips HTIB.... it automatically switching on the HTIB and optical input getting selected every time I choose external speaker option on tv.

Purchased 55LM7600 yesterday. Got it for 1.35L with free 3D camcorder.
Factory sealed pack.. Yet to open it as installation is scheduled for today.
I know that default settings are not that good as compared this set with Sony 55HX750 but if you calibrate it properly it leaves behind Sony by long way. (I was managed to do this stuff at an outlet late at nights and in varying light conditions as I knew the dealer a bit.) The blacks are better than most of the LEDs. Will post pics tonight.

The Dual Play feature stretches 1 players screen onto the entire screen. The aspect ratio gets completely screwed. The feature requires special Dual Play glasses but the same result can be achieved using the supplied glasses by covering one eye of the viewer.

Well, I guess some people might notice the difference in resolution - while some won't - when the LG 3D TV is working in the Dual Play mode - I for one did not. I suspect that with larger screens - such as 55 inch LM8600 model, the issue might become more pronounced for those with sensitive eyes. Yes, the same effect can be had by closing one eye, but that is quite an uncomfortable position to assume for long!

Can anyone who owns the 55LM7600 or 6700 let me know if they are using stabilizers? If yes, which ones? Some TVs have built in stabilizers but I do not know about LG LED LM series.

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
