I have 42 inch LW6500 model purchased in April 2012. Can I record TV shows to external Hard drive? How to enable this feature?

You dont have that option inbuilt in your TV. You can buy an HD+ set-top box and record shows. This feature is never really required, believe me.

I have this feature in my TV and set-top box both, but have never used it till date. All shows are available on youtube. Somebody else, somewhere is recording it for you hyeah:

These lw 2011 series from lg was one of there best, specially the 6500.... How is the performance , reliability of these tvs... ? Users Do share.....

I am having issue with v5.10 version of firmware for LW6500. It does not play youtube videos. Any video hangs after few seconds of play not to return back. Same videos play well in laptop.

I use Airtel broadband in Bangalore.

Anyone else has observed this issue? Any suggestions to fix this?

After 3 years I had my mainboard fail. I'm not sure about the price where you are - I bought the TV for 20,000 baht and the repair (new main board) was 3500 including pickup/delivery with a local TV repair man... Good as new.

My LG LW5700 LED is not starting and the power LED is just blinking slowly. Mostly looks like the mainboard or powersupply is gone. Since the warranty was over long back, I would like to get it repaired through local shops.

Are there any good reliable LED repair shops in Chennai that people here can suggest or have experience in dealing with?
