LG OLED 65B6 and 65E6 purchase

Seeing so many oled purchases here... My next upgrade most definitely be an oled n o presume 3 yrs down the line prices will come down to arnd a lac or below.
What do you guys think a 65" 4k oled will cost 3 yrs down the line?

you never know, right now the 2017 lg oled c6 got a price bump, so when launched in india i guess the mrp of the C6 which is the 2017 B6 replacement will be easy 3lacs, the b6 mrp is now 2,35 lacs so duuno howmuch the new 2017 models mrp will go up by, so 3 years down the line is too far to talk now.
Ypu might get cheaper oleds from brands like vu or other chineese makes.

Hey guys, i have also ordered the oled 55"b6. Should receive it in a couple of days. I have not used a stabilizer till now for my 2 year old 40" samsung series 6. Also i have it on a pure sine wave inverter which runs it comfortably. Can i have the 55" oled b6 on inverter similarly? Does anyone else have their's on inverter?

On thing to note: Only LG makes OLED panels. Recently, Sony has also announced an OLED line but I am not sure if they are using LG's panels or their own. I'm not certain prices will ever drop that much as you are hoping. With LCD panels, there are so many manufacturers that it rapidly became commoditized.

my prediction is that prices will never fall below a certain level. Instead what will happen is that in those price points, you will get more and more features over the years, and the panel quality will keep increasing.

I'm not saying 65" panel prices will not drop. Am just saying the drop will not be drastic. OLEDs will still command a premium 3 years down the line. And it will be very hard for LG to bring down manufacturing costs so low over the years that they can sell it for what LCDs cost. OLEDs are tricky to make.

Just my two cents though.

B6/E6 owners with videocon d2h, which setup box manufacture should i choose for the setup box to work with magic universal remote?

Delivered today... 55E6T
Congrats for the great purchase. How many 3d glasses and freebies did you get? Am looking to by one in Delhi if I get a good price around 2 Lacs (should come down further once new models are launched next month or so).

Silly Question(s)

Part 1 : Man O Man. Seems all here @this thread are VP or Senior Vice Presidents or Top Businessmen/Women.

Guess all here above 30-40L packages, may be more. Not envy, just curious.:licklips:

Buying a TV ~400K, wow and buying warranty costing 100K plus requires some heart.

Part 2 : While I was in US for office sponsored trip, 65 ' LG OLED were easily available at 1500-2000 during BF sale.

Why LG/Samsung charging so much premium for electronics in India specially now when LG got a NOIDA manufacturing.

Samsung should be boycotted simply because they are not allowing online stores to offer discounts and keeping prices stagnant.

Why they not doing this in US? They were offering 55 UHD at $499 with Sound Bar. Here they will charge 200K for same.

Beyond me why a TV manufactured in Asia sells for cheaper in US than in India.

Greedy manufacturers, they make up for any profit margin losses in the west by milking us dry. We pay the highest prices and in turn we also get the lowest warranty.
On top of that our govt taxes and duties and taxes and what not jacks up the prices 2-3 times.
I bought a LG basic non smart led 49 inch for 49k and for the same price I was getting a 50"+ uhd smart high end led from Samsung /Sony /lg In Dubai. For far less then what I paid here for a basic non smart led.

Yes, you are right, LG is now manufacturing leds in India and the one I have is made in India and even then the prices are easily 2 times the international prices.

Why cant we create a MEGA post on this forum and all add comments and share same on FB page of LG and Samsung.

Its is not about money here. Point is why ROB INDIANS.

Duties are on imported parts. Now with factory in India why this high prices and that too substandard models with less warranty as well.

your either kidding or your too young (no offence :p )
If thats the case why do we pay more for bmw, audi, mercedes in India then US? Its how it works for few coutries my friend, go see how expensive electronics are in new zealand/australia then go see how expensive cars are in singapore? you just can't say they ripping us indians, have u seen other countries except US?

Cheers.
