but LG is offering DVD player v388, with LCD, plasma's above 32"

So do u think, the dealers are gonna add up that dvd player's amount to the TV price...
like 55+3=58 + free dvd player...

U can't argue with the dealers on this front, they won't budge....

moreover, it's just dissapointing, to see that, LG is just giving v388, an year old model, to clear that stock, which is of lower build quality...

whereas samsung is offering new 1080H model, with their LCD's.

I guess I'll have to think about samsung b450 now...

Was planning on buying the Sony DAV-DZ390K HTS, so it would make no sense in paying that extra 2-3k on a useless piece of equipment.

I had a look at the Samsung B450 today...unfortunately was not able to compare it with the LGPQ70....I had to compare it with the Samsung Led... unfair comparison I must admit.. The samsung looked a lot less brighter...(or should I say that the LED looked a lot brighter)

Has anyone here had an opportunity to compare LGPQ70 and the B450 back to back ?? your thoughts on their performance...

1. Which one of these have better P.Q ?
2. Which one of these handles Refection better ? (this is an important factor as it would be kept in the living room with moderate lighting)

A local dealer here in blore quoted me 49.9K for the Samsung B450 ?

I am considering buying 42" Plasma.. I am confused between LGPQ70 and Panasonic C10. I have read good reviews on LGPq70 so far on this forum but could not find Panasonic C10 reviews.. any feedback..
I have quotes for LGPQ70 for around 42 and C10 around 44k

I am also looking for a 42" plasma and am in bangalore too. Could you tell me where was this price quoted (42k for LG 42PQ70). Was it the final price and was it with the free DVD player + HDMI cable and DVD movies diwali offer. Anyone else with price info for the LG 42PQ70.

I have also checked C10 but am inclined towards LG.

I want to but 50", but the VFM factor seems to disappear, while moving to 50"..
Moreover 50" model isn't available in Delhi right now, it will only be available in first week of October...

PQ70 is not available in stock.. LG says its not even showing in transit for next 2 months. I liked Pannasonic C10.. same features ecept C10 has SD card slot and LG has usb connection. C10 looks better then PQ70.

Baught C10 from Reliance Digital with few freebies for 42.5

Dealers have increased the price of 50" LGPQ70 from 57,000 last month to 60,000 today.
Moreover it's not available on display in any showroom.

I think Bombay has better stores, with more competitveness. & they even have the sets on display too...

My location is not Mumbai,
& Sammy is an old model, so didn't go for it.
Moreover LG frameless, is more good looking than Sammy, and cheaper too.

Took the plunge finally..... got myself a Samsung B450. The T.V has arrived... waiting for it to be wall mounted

Have downloaded a couple for HD videos from the net... can't wait to see them on the plasma..

LG PS80 has been launched here, its a 60 incher, any chance a 50 incher would be made available to us in the near future? I would really be interested in this a this would be FHD. Whats more the design the TV is similar to the PQ70, which i absolutely adore.

Any LG insights would be appreciated.
