I gave another try on audyssey. As per audyssey I was keeping 60cm for each measurement at my listening area. However, for position 2 measurement left side distance from side wall was 2 feet and position 3 measurement (right side) it's open kitchen 5 feet till the curtain. Looks like this was giving different measurement and while consolidating sound frequency (I assume) it was quite vague.
Today I took measurement, just 30cm from listening position, sound has improved. I will check for some more time.

Once Audyssey is done, you can manually adjust the levels for each speaker and even change the same from SMALL to LARGE etc. Do this carefully, refer to the owners manual for the same on how you need to do it. As for me I use a SR 60xx series AVR and after running Audyssey, i change the same from Reference to FLAT. It sounds much better.

Refer to the Owners Manual and reset the AVR if you feel the AVR is not optimally performing as last resort.

Thanks @efernand1 for response. I have tried all these settings. Run audyssey in different locations which is beyond listening position and played with volume, and other audyssey settings. Not satisfactory. I have tried new way today. Will check if this improvement is keepable.

To be Honest, AVRs / AMPs which you get today will get outdated or behave weird possibly after 3 years of use or more! Sometimes the Hi End models survive and function well (case to case basis).

Advisable since it is working to sell it off and try to get an updated model either new or a pre owned one. There are many dealers / sellers in Bengaluru who you can check with and make a good purchase.

Besides OLX and Facebook Market place, recently noticed that dealers have started advertising their stuff over Youtube with contact details. I too am actively looking out for something good.

I am using SR5010 and it has gone into protection mode, removed all speaker terminals and tried with only power but still when ON it goes in protection mode. also seeing from top side my board looks all brown hope its not corroded due to our mumbai climate, though it is kept in open ventilated space.
Need to know reference of any good technician to work on this and in word scenario is it advisable to change the board and even possible to get.

Your analysis seems to be correct. The climate"might" be the reason. Mumbai members can guide you to a technician.

It's fine to change the board. Invariably the board would be from other receivers, with power supply issues etc. Ask for some short term guarantee for the new board.

Why not to take to MZ?
There testing fees are reasonable and lesser than other technician.

Joseph is good technician but can charge 3k as minimum fees. Also if a particular part is gone, then waiting period will be more. He repairs Yamaha faster.

Hi, have checked with them and it cannot be done due to board corrosion and this been legacy product parts issue as well.
