McCormack gone.. what next ?

Hi Everybody,
You all guided me to my CHOICE and you ask me what it is;

No mystery, it is

EMOTIVA.XPA-2. :clapping:

In this money, I could have purchased XPA-3,5 or UPA-7.

But I wanted to concentrate on two-channel as of now.

Purchased it on the day of Emofest 2010 and got a free shipping within US offer.

thanks all,

Great. Have fun :)

Please do post your comments comparing to Mc Cormack when you get some time.

XPA-2 definitely sounded more musical than the XPA-3 or 5 (which in my view are aimed at HT usage). In terms o driving speakers, any one of them can handle low impedances except in bridged mode.

Good luck and enjoy the music!

Hi Spidey,

By now you must have had some great listening on the Emotiva. Are you planning to post your impressions regarding this amp versus your earlier McCormack anytime soon? Or have you already posted them on another thread?

Regards.

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
