Missed out on 50 LPS as I reached late but then what the heck picked up 100 CDs for a steal
 
There seems to be a lot of sellers who are importing Blu Ray from Malaysia and selling them at real low price. Rs 200-300. Any idea if they are they originals and not the rips ?

From where did you find such info? May be they are selling pirated version of the BDs and not exactly so called BD rips...

As far as I know, the max discount on BDs I got here is from mosarebear bds...initially they were selling it for 250 bucks (MRP799) but last week it was increased to Rs.299. But these are all Hindi movies and very few titles are available.

Search olx and quickr and you will find many such sellers with pics of original boxes.
 
Today is 23rd and received a message on my mobile that seller has been cancelled the order for "A Wednesday". What's status for your order?

I haven't received any kind of email/ sms from flipkart either approving or rejecting the order yet. It is still in the approval stage, as per flipkart website.

I am NOT AT ALL hopeful about getting the A Wednesday movie. Even it is out of stock in flipkart.

By the way, I got the Chak De India bluray for Rs.204 from amazon. Superquick delivery within 2 - 3 days. :clapping:
 
A Wednesday was out of stock after our orders but it was available till our order. I like the way of Amazon who shows how many items left in stock (you will not see this message if more than 3 available). So Flipkart should have that available when we ordered but seems they don't want to process that order AT THIS PRICE. Flipkart cancelled my order by saying the item is unavailable.

I have received my Chak De this Sunday and quality is superb, but the special features are not High Definition. Any update about Swades?

Normally even such packages has 3 individual discs for all the movies in the set. I have not seen any BD containing 2 movies in one BD disc, though I have quite a few BD boxsets.

1. The Last Gun / Four Dollars of Revenge

2. The Grand Duel / Keoma
 
Moser Baer can do anything :ohyeah: (if they can put 3 movies in 4.7 GB DVD, then why not in 25-50GB Blu-Ray, lower in quality) :ohyeah: They call it DVD or Blu-Ray because of media used for the content, not quality.

It is on Amazon INDIA and I guess there is no hassle if we order from them. :)

This is what's preventing me to buy from Amazon US/UK. Especially the customs duty horror stories and the wait for the parcel which is much longer than flipkart's
