What would be the best edition to buy LOTR Series. I love the series but not a hardcore fan. So couldnt decide to buy the extended edition with tons of extra DVDs. I just want to have the theatrical edition on BD.

I am eying the Steel book case @ flipkart 750/-. I have read it have option in menu to play both theatrical and extended edition. Please advise.

Extended edition - always the extended edition.

I have a sealed copy, as I bought it few months back, with an intent to buy a Region Free BDP, but have since given up the idea. If anyone interested, you may please PM me.

This can be played through only with a region free player or region-B player.

Similarly, I have a Region A locked PULP FICTION (Blu ray) also in sealed condition.

It is not a steel book. It contains 2D BD also. The extended version will be out soon but unlike the LOTR series, where the extended version was between 35 to 45 minutes extra, the ext version of "The Hobbit" is just 8 mins long. It is your decision.

Anybody got "Singin' In The Rain" 60th anninv edition? This is from Sony DADC. Does it have 5.1 audio? Its supposed to have DTS-HD Master audio. My copy from amazon.in does not seem to have it though I cannot be sure as my setup is not operational. It does not show in the Language options when I see it without connecting to an AVR.

From the look of it, this is from one of the recently released "Best of Warner Bros" collections but is being sold as the 60th anniv ed. The cover is different from the actual 60th anniv edition. Check out the covers at amazon.in and amazon.com
Though the back cover does say DTS-HDMA. But then the cover also gives the aspect ratio as 16x9 2.4:1! This was never released in widescreen.

No exact answer to this, depends on luck, timing of when you see and updates made by seller. Do check multiple times in a day (bookmark the url with filters), see if a title that is going really low suits you and purchase it.

When I checked, it had only one BR left for this movie. Once I purchased it showed price of 549 odd for new stock.
 
Even I have seen this title at this price (because I already made it bookmark with all filters), but I was not interested in this title. And that depends on the seller that he want to ship the item at this price or not. Now New Super Star Electronics is canceling the low price orders (see their feedback) and refund the money for low rate items.
