Mx Speaker Stands - GEM or DUD

Hi,

I had been to SP road to buy some PC components so went to Golcha but also then realized needed some audio adaptors..

Then, I went to the MX showroom on the lane opposite to Golcha. Now, as I was buying the adaptors my eyes landed on these MX speaker stand - > Buy MX SPEAKER STANDS - MX 3465A Online at Low Prices in India - Amazon.in

Since I was impressed by them, I asked the dealer how much it was, and he said Rs. 1500 to my surprise. I realize there are many other similar stands out there but for the asking price these are really good. Although, it was a bit wobbly at the base though but no major flaws.

I think for 1500 these will blow away many HiFi stands being sold either as mains or for surrounds.

Now my question is has anyone used these stands and is it worth buying them since I am planning to use them to support my monitors, since I want a height adjustable one.

I wanted to pick these up today but since I had so many things to carry I decided to wait and go back later since I need to buy a few more things anyways.

Base plate is plenty wide to accommodate any bookshelf speaker, since I have seen it personally. These can be used to mount PA speakers also and those are usually massive. The pic in the Amazon site does not show this clearly and not many pictures are available on the net.

I'm looking speaker stands for Pioneer SP BS 22. Will the stands good for these speakers which weighs 4.1 kgs each?

Yes, they will support your speakers without doubt. The build quality is really good plus they are height adjustable.

The foot print that these stands occupy will be the question mark. Stability being another. You will, for sure, have to strap whatever speaker you put on it.
