My Living Room renovation pics..- Lot of pics- so execuse me.

Congrats srini,
Can i suggest you to remove the center speaker place above your CRT as to avoid the magnetic fields from speaker even though your speaker may be magnetic shielded .:clapping:

Thanks buddy,

It is temporary, i will try to do the same once i l buy LCD/LED/ Plasma Tv, tilll that have to live with that..:)

Very neat setup in the limited space, now i could imagine what you will do if you get a dedicated room for HT, I wish you get ur dream room very soon to set up your HT gear.
BTW i have a spare room which is exactly 10 feet wide but the length is only 12 or 13 feet, after seeing your thread i am thinking to convert that in to a small ht room.

Thanks..

Yes it is possible to convert to an small HT room with the room size specified... We have to live and enjoy what we get for the time being..:) Later we can dream of going for real HT like other esteemed members like Vinay/ Santhosh/subhash....

it's a wow setup. Two screens, and awesome racks!!! I just don't have the brain to handle that much complexity of building such a room. It must have taken lots of dreaming, both while awake and asleep :)

Thanks Anm, really it is not an wow setup comparing to others own. Exactly planned and i have completed in 1 to 2 weeks...As i mentioned it is an look alike fake HT, since it has been done in Living room.. There is no complexity or acoustic part involved in this and very easily i have done this taking care of aesthetic part alone.

Now that the fixed screen lost itz presence and on the place my 50C6500 is placed.

Very nicely done Srini-I stumbled ont his thread a bit late, don't know how I missed it. I was in the US when this was started, maybe that's why.

I think innovative thinking/ frugal engineering is the order of the day in maximising utilization of the limited space available to many of us, and I never cease to be amazed at some innovative solutions on this forum.

Thanks George for your appreciation.:)

Fantastic setup srini, pics shows the hard work and creativity .. ..Inspiration to a lot of people..

Thanks Dlkanth,

I got inspired from Santhosh here and could not do an dedicated HT like him, but to an certain extent tried to make an look alike HT to satisfy myself.

I cannot spare my another room and attached bathroom to make an dedicated HT. But I tried to be satisfied and utilize as much as I have and to an certain possible extent:)

Another thing is we should not occupy the whole living room to cluster our HT equipment's and we should give respect to our family members too and their suggestions and their willingness.:)

Just trying to become an audiophile, on that journey ordered some Chinese speaker cable and Audiophile Power cable few months back ( got after 3 months after order and i believe it traveled to various audiophile destinations ) and got today when i am in position to throw away my interconnects.

Let me add some more in recent buying spree and may be by Monday another interesting entrant to my audiophile journey.

1) Creek EVO Integrated amplifier
2) EPOS 5i
3) Epos 8i
4) Dune BD Prime 3.0

To my next step forward into audiophile journey entered into next league of Speakers. Thiel CS1.6..Bought from Singapore.. Special Thanks to Santhosh in Singapore on helping me to buy these speakers and having demo/making payment to the seller and co-ordinate for shipping.:)

Now powering those with Creek Evo at 160 Watts into 4 Ohms and intial impression is happy with the output:)

Members in chennai are most welcome to test those and give an suggestion for me to improve the music output on the right way, since i am not much conversant in complete sound signature.:)

Now the pics. below. Excuse for the bad wire management behind, still under testing by connecting with amps + speakers.

Glad it reached you safely and "All is well" :). Enjoy buddy, these beauties need careful matching of amp and source. Not sure if you still have the Marantz CD63SE, if you do you should listen to it with that instead of the Dune.

Good Stuff and Congrats!! Why are these Chinese branded cables "Audiophile" just because the carton says so? Do they have a reputation on the YInternet? Just curious why you threw your money on these ones ...

I am visiting Chennai this month for Kutcheri season and would like to drop in ...

Congratulations and Awesome stuff Srini,

Your HT room room looks like a high end demo room what with so many brands all under one roof. Absolutely fantastic.
