Dear Friends
I wish to buy an 3D LED TV between 46 in to 50in
My main criteria is PQ should be Good.
No Viewing angle Issue as mostly viewing from front of the TV.
Will not be playing Games or use as PC Monitor.
TV to viewing eye Distance is between 10 to 17 Ft.
Mostly will be Watching standard TV Channels, Sports, HQ Movies..
Budget is 90K to 100K
Please Advice Urgently as wish to buy on Diwali

Thanks in Advance to all of you....

according to experts passive 3d is easy on the eyes than the active 3d...so my recommendation would be the sony47w850....or the sony47w800....the former has richer colours than the latter...

Thanks Zouresh!
Yes, Passive 3D is more easy no doubt..
How about Panasonic 50ET60??
Is Sony 47W800 better than Pana?
Sony47850 is Rs.108,000 Bit Higher.
Panasonic online Price is around 95000!

the standard definition picture is better on the sony than the panasonic...take a demo and check it yourself...forget about reviews...forget about what forum members say...trust your eyes...take a demo of both the sony and panasonic and choose a tv which looks good to your eyes.....

go for it if you cannot afford the sony....

Hello Zouresh
Thanks for you reply
What I understand after going through this Forum is that Panny Plasma 50S60 is very good TV if u are not interested in 3d!!. And I am not die hard fan of 3d and can go without 3D also.
What I learn is you are the proud owner of the 50S60.
If I change my mind and decide to go for 50S60.. will it be a good decision?
What about after Sales support of Panasonic Plasma that my main concern??
Or will it be a good decision to go for Panny 50E6D ((if not interested in3D))
I am really confused.
Pl share your 50S60 experience ...

today i took a demo of quite a few 3D led, almost all in 42" and 40", the sets i demoed were LG la6200, la6910, Samsung f6400, Sony W800
I am leaning towards la6200, though i feel the 3d was a little better on la6910 but the price difference is too much.
f6400 is another good set, i didnt notice any flicker like some people suggest that one might find in active 3d glasses and neither were the glasses heavy, they were almost the same weight as polarized glasses, you get 4 free active glasses at chroma, so glasses itselves are worth 10,000 (i was quoted rs 2500 each for the glasses)
Sony set has the most underwhelming 3D, i didnt like it much.
the movies i demoed were Pacific Rim (over/under), Imax Under the Sea (SbS), Tangled (SbS)
one strange thing happened though, i demoed lg sets near my place in an lg shop, and it was ghosting free however when i demoed the same set in vijaysales there were some very apparent ghosting, i dont know if it was something with their set/glasses or my eyes were too tired by then.

i personally feel that a plasma picture is very realistic and natural than a led picture....so if you want to go plasma s60 is a very good option....take a demo and decide...

I have lg 47lm6200 2012 model.and I am happy with it ...

i ordered 42la6200 from snapdeal, at Rs. 61,000. its a great price considering i was offered a price of 71,000 at chroma and slightly more at vijaysales, that too after some bargaining.

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
