Friends after a 4 months struggle and help of u forum members able to finalise on speaker part Decided to go with Dali zensor 7 5.1.
Now confusion is on AV part which to go Denon or Marantz
As pet dealer zensor goes well with X2000 but someone suggested instead of Denon go for Marantz as it's better and go for SR 6007. My personal liking is marantz but when I started research. I found following which made me more confused.
1) Marantz US site there is nothing mentioned about SR 6007 it's available on Asia site
2) on Hifi mart site the price of SR5008 and SR 6007 is almost same
3) there is not much more about SR 6007 compared to X2000 on most of the av site.
My preference is 50% music 50% movies. As per the dealer Denon goes well with Zensor 7 and suggested that if wanna go with Marantz than go with SR 6008 which is much higher price wise.and again there is a service issues with Marantz which I least want to face.
Friends I am totally confused:confused: can someone guide me with this so I can close this as i am very eager to post my HT setup on this site.

I am also in the same boat as you. I had ordered Marantz SR5008 more than a month back with a Marantz authorised dealer. Seems the India distributor is facing some challenge with customs for a month now.

The dealer first tried to push SR6007 at nominally higher price than SR5008. On research I found that in 2013 Marantz changed the amplification from Voltage Feedback to Current Feedback. Also the dealer had earlier told me that x007 series could read only 500GB of hard disk. The x008 series can read up to 1TB hard disk. This was the deal breaker for me as most of my data is on couple of 1TB Harddisks.

The issue with customs is still continuing and now the dealer is trying to push Denon X2000. If you are able to lay hands on a Marantz SR6008 do let me know which dealer was able to suplly.

@poppy You can go with the Denon X2000. It seems that there is a problem with Marantz everywhere. Even in some places it is not available. Try to play the the music through ASIO driver rather WASAPI.

Sumit 6008 was available with MZ marantz distributor in mumbai when my dealer had checked with him last week but price was out of my budget so I let it go.insted due to price i opted for 6007 .so what u think I should go with Denon .

Snkadh thanks for the reply . chief u are using the same zensor7 with X2000 so can you pl share your experience on performance and whenyou had ppurchased. Because my dealer also try to push same combination as he had sold similar in past and none with Marantz.

@poppy: I have been using this combination since Oct 2013.The combination is really good. I haven't try the Marantz, because, they are not available in Kolkata. And it seems that they have some problem so the dealers also stopped selling Mrantz in Kolkata. So Denon is the only option for me. Here is the review for X2000
Denon AVR-X2000 review from the experts at whathifi.com
Later try to buy a DAC
