I have Sony BDP-S590 and I have an old Sony home theater DAV-DZ556KB .

My old home theater do not have optical/coaxial IN, but I can see some Coax connection for FM .. it is of 75 ohm.

is there any way that I can receive digital audio signal from blu ray player to home theater throught this 75ohm connector?. If so please sugest me the cable required.

I can connect my player with anolog 2 channel connectors but not sure if I can get true DTS/Dolby.

TIA ..:)

Please don't try connecting your BDP with your HTIB. You may end up blowing one or both.

There is no way you can use your BDP with your HTIB. HTIB are not designed to be used in that way (unless the one you have is an exception).

The only thing common between the Coaxial out on your BDP and FM input on HTIB is the impedance. They are both 75 Ohms. But similarities end there. They are meant for entirely different purposes.

one way is there,if can diy it.
you can connect 6 analoguoe outputs of your bdp into the dismantled and amp input section of the htib.just the area where the signal is getting amplified after in built dvd player decoding and signals going for amplification.
easy way is use 2 channel RCA in of your htib from 2 ch RCA out of bdp.

diying and dismantling is full of risk mind that.

Thanks for the Reply. I had tried 2 channel connection and with multi channel audio output option I am able to get decent sound clarity.
