Hi All,
One of my friend's kid spilled water on his Onkyo AVR and it stopped working. Lucky for him, drying the AVR using hair drier magically brought the system live.
After this, I cannot take chance of my kid spilling water on my brand new Marantz 6011, currently it is placed on top of a flat wooden cabinet beside my center channel without any protection on top.
I need your suggestion for a flat wooden cabinet (since my PJ screen above ~3 and half feet from ground when pulled), which type of wood is good to use ? I prefer to use a cabinet with open back for better ventilation.
If you guys can post pics of your setup, that would give me idea about the model choose as well.
Thanks in advance.
PS : Dear admin, please move this post to correct thread if I am posting at wrong place.
