No comparison buddy - ST50 is a class ahead. Also 1 yr warranty is a spoiler for Samsung. ST50 better Blacks, PQ etc etc make it a winner...

This is the highest I have heard for 42XT50 - usual prices are bw 48-52K in most of the cities and it comes with 1 3D Glass, HT, 3 yrs warranty.

I just called up the dealer and asked him the price difference. Well, the dealer is still firm on Rs.55K.

I am thinking that i should leave the offer. Instead, i should buy Samsung P43E490 at Rs. 46K at Nasik. It has 3D and no LAN capability.

Is 46K okay for Samsung P43E490?

The brand shop is quoting sticker price. The HT is not 7500W - it could be 1000W or 500W.

Hi guys,
I have a Panasonic Plasma 42XT50D purchased in August 2012 at Bangalore.

Since the past 2 years, the TV would not switch ON immediately after being swithced off from the main power supply. But if we kept it switch off for say 10 mins, it would likely switch ON in the next try.

Last morning it seems like the TV gave up. Doesn't switch ON no matter how many hours it's kept off.

I feel it could be caused due to a loose wire connection or dust which could be blown off. I couldn't find much info online but I'm still searching actually. I guess I need professional help.

The Panasonic Customer care has demanded 1000 just for visiting. Is there any alternative ? Would like to know any inputs so the technician may consider other relevant possibilities too.
