^ Its the typical case of power board failure. I own the same 2012 model and it has happened with me thrice, under warranty power board was replaced twice and once capacitor was replaced with new one on power board. The last time it happened they were almost giving me cashback offer or replace the old one with a new TV since they didn't had the power board in stock anymore. However last minute they found one, replaced it and its now working fine. The board is repairable only if they could find where the fault is which is what happened with me when one of their guys figured it out and replaced the capacitor, other times they gave up and changed the board itself. Spending 1000 would go waste IMHO just for the paying them for visit. The new board cost some 8000 but i guess from my last experience they dont stock it anymore but you anyways can try your luck. And do use stabilizer in future to protect your TV from voltage fluctuations.
