Mine also has tiny holes in it and its acoustic as well ...... ok so you painted it black ... can you share what paint you used and how did you paint it. Also a request, csn you post a snap of the movie playing with black ceiling, just wanted to compare the reflection level with what you posted before .....

Sam, will try to post a picture today. I took a few pictures with my note 3, but you can't make out much, the sensor is not very good for low light. I will try with my Ixus later. TC.

Sam, so sorry for the delay. But the picture is finally here.

The picture was taken during the day. The light from the left is the AC LED.


I hope this helps.

The second pic is the riser steps. I turn off the lights after a while, as I prefer to have the HT as dark as possible.

I hope to post more pictures of my theater soon.
