Ok so my sony OLED inches is up and running, DALI opticon mk2 2 arriving soon to pair with denon x4800h. I am now looking for a great subwoofer to pair with. I dont want loud bass, Just aa great pure room filling bass Specially in hindi bollywood music from 90s movies. I also love to watch hollywood 4k action movies like from Jaimes bond casino royal spectre etc. Which one will you suggest. Room size is height 10.5 feet length 13 feet width 11 feet
note: i have tinnitus too but still want to enjoy bass. I may run sub at only 10 to 20%.

My choice would be svs sb2000. I dont like ported subs as they go beyond what is actually made. For the ported fans pb2000 or even pb1000 may do good. Polk hts12 might also do good on a budget - may be 2 of those, but will miss out those parametric eq of svs if u wish to tune

Go for F12 or the fvx 12. Well within your budget if 1.5L

Have you heard the Dali-Denon as a pair? Those speakers drop pretty low on impedance.

As for the sub woofer, you must consider REL. For their compact size, they can move a lot of air plus they are aesthetically well designed.

I have the XTZ 12.17(not the Edge one) - it was one of the last few in India when I got it. I have been using it with Dali Zensors and Denon x1600h(one of the lowest in terms of price point) in a regular Indian room. Calibration was done with care. Trust me, the XTZ 12.17 performs very well for both movies and music. It's not boomy for music. Bass is controlled and punchy. You should shortlist one. XTZ 12.17 Edge should be better than the original 12.17.

what do you mean by dali denon?
Are you not buying Dali and Denon as a combination? Or have you changed your mind?
I asked if you have heard the two together (that is, the exact speaker you are buying with the AV receiver model you listed) or is this some blind buy. I'd not do the latter.

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
