To put things into perspective, greater than 50 percent offers on MRP were common even last Diwali . The 55C8's lowest price on the forum was 1.12 lakhs at the time , when OLED launch prices were significantly higher(dont recollect the MRP for it but obviously it is higher than what's listed currently). Even the Sony A8F retailed for 1.48 lakhs, the lowest reported last Diwali on an MRP of 330000. i.e 45 percent of the boxed value. Look at the Sonys this year and there is nothing close to it ,even though the MRP on the 55A9G is 300000 (official launch price even lower at 270000).
MRPs are just ridiculously inflated for tvs.

Yes it is ridiculous. But here nobody ready to give even 50% discount (Max. 40% to 45% only). As I am new to this forum, it is new to me hearing about such a huge (more than 50%) discount.

The invoice I received has an additional 2 years comprehensive warranty mentioned on it, and the installation person said that he would update the system with the extended warranty information. I'm not sure how to check it online though, but since it is mentioned on the invoice, it should be good.
The cheapest price here is 1.15K-9K cash back= 1.06K. with out any freebies.
Does anyone have an idea regarding the new offers for C9 65 inch?
