You do realize that for less then the total of 78 + 61 = 139k, you could have gotten 'two' Samsung PS50C550 (FULL HD) TVs. Just something for others to keep in mind.

shree we are looking at plasma tvs and as on date panasonic plasma is the best
the one's in dis thread are plasma patrons or some who need gud vfm stuff
people here belive in the fact that plasma quality is superior than lcd /led; i am not starting the old debate but want to clarify that this micro group belives the above fact;nor do i patronise that lcd or led are bad you are ready to have your own independent views and we are not averse to that
being here and discussing about a group buy about plasma by panasonic is the fact that we:
1 like plasma more than led/lcd
2 plasma by panasonic is better than lg/samsung
3 plasma is a vfm product
4 panasonic is offering 1+2 yrs official india warrenty wid our purchase (atleast we are warrenty proof for 3 years)
5 at 32.5k it is a steal
6 at a viewing distance of 12- 14 feet the 42" panels, hardly a disernable difference in clarity between full hd and hd ready is appriciable to the naked eye

yes i feel it shud be twice the inchage of the tv ie 42"*2=84" makes 8 feets approx
yes plasmas below 42 are not available

yes i can understand that it is difficult to get real great price in cities like chandigarh and ludhiana as competition is not that much high. try to find out a small dealer with whom you can bargain better. tell them about the price you are getting in delhi. tell them u can show the invoice of 32.5k. PM me if you need a copy of invoice.
else is the price diff is really high then you can easily pick the tv from here if u happen to visit delhi and you can take it with you in train or ur own vehicle. note that installation and service facilities are independent of place of purchase.

Where you able to compare the X20 and A20 side-by-side? Is the A20 also glossy finish like the X20?

Ok since there are a lot of new X20 owners I feel this is the right place to ask this question, namely
What is the total weight of new X20 (including box)?? I am asking because I might have to transport the TV by air so I want to know the exact weight. LG plasmas are out of the question since every other LG plasma owner seems to have had some kind of quality issues with theirs (though it must be mentioned that LG provided prompt and hassle-free replacement). So I wouldn't want to risk transporting an already delicate LG plasma.
Now if only X20 owners could post some pictures including some taken in a dark room so that we could have a look at the black levels for ourselves.

Had gone to Delhi on sunday. Used the opportunity to buy a TV for my brother. Got him the 42X20 at 32.5K from this dealer without any problems.

I called Rajat today regarding the deal. I told him that some of my friends bought this for 32.5k but he was adamant that I tell him their names and date of purchase without this information he quoted me a price of 35k.
Any body can please provide me date of purchase and names on the bill or a scanned copy of their invoice.
