Panasonic UT50 (2012 model) Owners Thread

Anybody here from Pune. Could someone let me where can i get the best price for 50UT50 in Pune. I am currently getting a price of around 78K for the above TV.

Is anybody looking for a group buy in Pune. I guess we could bargain for a a lower price if we are at least 3-4 people. I might buy this TV within the next 1-2 weeks if everything goes well.

hmm infibeam has a great online price but not sure it will be packaging 3D glasses and also not sure if ordering online is safe and worth it. Any suggestions ?
Buy Panasonic TH-P50UT50D (FHD) 3D TV, 50 Inch 3D Price, Best 3D India - Infibeam.com

"Write" an email to them and get their response about glasses in written, what all this package will have what not. Then only order.

I bought it from infibeam, TV was delivered fresh new but i am still waiting for the glasses, which they promised would reach me soon.
I would suggest what ever price infibeam is quoting, try to negotiate that price with local dealers, telling them that it includes shipping as well which they should reduce.....
Try hard.
I would write a review on infibeam in some time.

Regards

There isnt a 43 inch model of Pana plasma; there is 42UT50 and the next one is 50UT50.

Myzus from Mumbai got a 42UT50 for 56k (after exchange of Onida 21 CRT) and two 3-D glasses. Mkblr from Bangalore got it for INR 56,700 with 2 x 3D eye wear + Panasonic Printer + some lucky dip coupons from the dealer as Diwali offer. Most of the people elsewhere have got 42UT50 for 62-65k & rarely below 60K.

The lowest price of 50UT50 has fallen below 70K in some cities.

thanx for the price update truly_deep :)

hi, where did you get it <<70k, if so are 3D glasses included ?

I am based in Kolkata and I got the price with a Kolkata dealer. Yes, two 3D glasses are included along with stand, wall mount, etc. The set I got was mint new (Testing revealed I was the first to turn it on). Awaiting delivery of the free Laser printer.

I second nicenice's advise. Try out all local dealers before going the online way. In case of trouble, the local dealers are easier to approach/catch. Also, I will be more assured with Flipkart than Infibeam based on my personal experience.
All the best !!

If anyone wishes to buy the Pana 3D glasses or the internet dongle for 50UT50, please note the prices I have been offered in Kolkata.

Pana 3D Glasses - Rs 4,999
Internet dongle - Rs 3,000

The InfiBeam price really looks attractive. But I would rather buy from a local dealer than infibeam. Seen a lot of negative reviews on the above site.

BTW I have been quoted a price of around 78K for the 50UT50 Model in Pune. Is this a fair price or do you think i need to bargain harder.

Infibeam now goes out of Stock..

Price is on the higher side - it should not be more than 74K and around 72K is possible...

Yes, do target a price below 74 K atleast.

During my search for one, I was quoted 71k for the 50UT50 and 68k for the 51E550 without any bargain from Nandilath G-Mart, Kollam, Kerala.I was contemplating between the extra 1 inch in the Samsung vs the extra 2 years warranty provided with the Panasonic and had finally decided to go with the Panasonic.Though it didn't go through and I ended up with an Epson PJ is another part of the story.

This happened in September or October, and the pricing was very competitive IMHO,that I felt making the payment right then, hopefully after bargaining and reducing the UT50 by a couple K.Seeing the current pricing makes me sad.Is there a reason for the sudden rise in the matter of a couple of months?

Local dealers quoting at 78k , could have grabbed the infibeam thingy :x. Its kinda sad that ppl outside india are getting this at 750 dollars and we are being quoted exorbitant prices wth.
