Panasonic UT50 (2012 model) Owners Thread

There is a big difference in price of led tvs in big cities and small cities. In Saharanpur(U.P) 42Xt50 costs 55k and 42ut50 costs 73k and these are final prices. I cant understand why is there so much difference?? After reading so many topics here I went to buy 42UT50
but I couldnt as Dealers are looting here
Not only Panasonic but dealers of Lg, Sony and Samsung are doing the same. Lg 47lm6200 is selling for 97k in my city but some people are getting it for as low as 77k. Difference of 20 k.

If you have croma nearby, try to visit, they do have panasonic plasma UT series. I purchased it 50UT50.
Mate how much did you pay for 50UT50?

81000 with printer and 2 3d glasses. Used SBI debit card so got 1500 cash back. So final cost me 79500.

yes.. but in pune when i was searching nobody has stock other brand shop. And brand shop was not ready to come down price
Thats good considering panasonic dealer in my city selling it for 87k

I didn't check samsung 3d performace. But I'm happy with 3d performance of UT50 and 3d glasses are very light weight (27g) that was totally unexpected....so far I watched Avatar and ice age in 3d, awesome experience.
I had also checked prices in delhi as well as a tier-2 city where I finally brought it from... the prices were similar and actually better in tier-2 city.
In case no dealer in your city is offering the right price, buy it from neighboring place then...
42XT50 - should be around 47-49K, 42UT50 around 60-64K.

Keep trying to get lower prices. At one point, the lowest price I was getting for a 50UT50 was 79000 as a special Diwali offer but on hunting around (even those who were out of stock but had stock on the way), managed to knock off 10 K more !!

Finally, my 50UT50 has got installed today morning (delivered on saturday). Along with Tata Sky HD+ box. The TV was mint condition (1 power switch on and just a couple of minutes of running time). Panasonic Engineers wall mounted it and now running it on Zoom 2 and low intensity mode for the first 200 hours (though the Pana Engg said that is not required these days !!)
The 50UT50 along with Tata Sky HD+ is a killer combination.

I can vouch for this since I have the same combination and with the Panasonic XH170 HT, the experience just goes to another level of pleasure :clapping:

ST30 is last year's model. Why do you wish to buy it? It may be out of stock too. I would suggest that you go for ST50 instead or UT50, if low on budget.

1. How long does it take fot the Printer and coupon to arrive?
2. Has anyone used the Hungama coupon ? What will one buy fr that huge amount there?
3. My warranty card (found in the TV box, filled up by Pana Engineer and stamped by shop) clearly states 3 years warranty. Do I need to scan that and send to Panasonic ?
